The gardens are made up of five unique gardens, each with its distinct theme and purpose. These include the Riverview Garden, which consists of native and exotic plants, trees, and shrubs which provide a stunning view of the Cape Fear River. The Wildflower Forest Garden is also a beautiful spot, with gorgeous benches, shade trees, as well as various meanderings and pathways to explore. Other must-see gardens are the Cottage Garden, containing flowers and herbs that provide beautiful colors and aromas, the Perennial Garden, with 2,000 gems of perennial plants, and the Furze Garden containing large shrubs and trees to provide an overview of the area’s natural plant life.
